By downloading, installing, or using the Narri iOS application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Narri is an iOS application that provides personalized story generation services for children. The App allows users to:
* Create personalized stories for children using AI technology* Store and manage children's profiles* Generate custom illustrations and audio narrations* Access premium features through subscription
3. User Accounts and Data
3.1 Account Requirements* You must be at least 13 years old to use this App* You must have a valid Apple ID* You must have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
3.2 Data Storage and Privacy* The App stores data in Firebase Firestore and Firebase Storage* User authentication is handled through Firebase Authentication* We store the following data: * Kid profiles (name, age, creation date) * Generated stories (title, content, theme, associated child information) * Story media (generated illustrations and audio narrations) * Subscription status and story count for free users* We use RevenueCat for subscription management* We collect usage metrics to improve the App* We do not share your data with third parties except as necessary to provide our services* For more details, please refer to our Privacy Policy
4. Subscription Terms
4.1 Subscription Service* The App offers a freemium model with a free tier and paid subscription* Free users can create up to 3 stories* Subscription provides unlimited story creation* Subscription is managed through Apple's StoreKit and RevenueCat* Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off
4.2 Subscription Management* Subscriptions can be managed through your Apple ID settings* You can cancel your subscription at any time* Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period* No refunds will be issued for partial subscription periods
4.3 Free Tier Limitations* Free users are limited to creating 3 stories* Story count is tracked and stored in Firebase* Additional features may be limited for free users
5. AI-Generated Content
5.1 Content Generation* The App uses AI services including OpenAI's GPT models for story creation* The App generates illustrations using AI image generation technology* The App creates audio narrations using text-to-speech technology* Generated content is based on user inputs and prompts
5.2 Content Ownership* You retain ownership rights to the stories generated for you* However, we reserve the right to use anonymized data to improve our services* We make no guarantees regarding the uniqueness of the generated content* The App does not claim copyright over user-generated or AI-generated content
5.3 Content Limitations* We implement safeguards to ensure generated content is appropriate for children* However, we cannot guarantee that all generated content will meet your expectations* You are responsible for reviewing content before sharing it with children
6. User Content and Conduct
6.1 User Responsibilities* You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account* You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account* You are responsible for ensuring the appropriateness of your prompts* You must not share your account credentials with others
6.2 Prohibited ActivitiesUsers agree not to:* Submit prompts designed to generate inappropriate or harmful content* Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code* Modify or create derivative works of the App* Use the App for any illegal purposes* Attempt to bypass subscription limitations* Share subscription access with others* Use automated systems or software to extract data from the App
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 App Ownership* The App and its original content are owned by First Chapter LLC* All rights not expressly granted are reserved* The App is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws
7.2 User Content* Users retain ownership of their generated stories* By using the App, you grant First Chapter LLC a license to store and process your content* You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content you create
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
* The App is provided "as is" without any warranties* We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted* We are not responsible for any data loss or damage to your device* Story generation is based on AI technology and may not always meet expectations* We do not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or appropriateness of AI-generated content
9. Limitation of Liability
* First Chapter LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages* Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the subscription service* We are not responsible for any content generated through the App
10. Changes to Terms
* We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time* Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance* We will notify users of significant changes through the App
11. Termination
* We may terminate or suspend access to the App for violations of these Terms* Users may terminate their use of the App at any time* Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
